Behind Rooted Family Wellness Centre

"When we became parents ourselves, we realized just how difficult it could be to find trusted, coordinated support."

For Erin and Christine, founders of Rooted Family Wellness Centre, that realization became the beginning of something much bigger.

As both parents and a former professional doulas, Erin and Christine saw firsthand how overwhelming the journey into parenthood could feel. Families often had to search in multiple places for healthcare, education, practical resources, and a community they could trust.

"We wanted to create the kind of place we wished had existed for us and for our doula clients," Erin and Christine shared. "Somewhere families could access knowledgeable professionals, practical resources, and a supportive community without having to navigate everything alone."

That vision became Rooted Family Wellness Centre, a multidisciplinary health and wellness centre in Kanata, Ontario, where healthcare, education, fitness, and community support come together under one welcoming roof for growing families.

Every day, Erin, Christine and their team help individuals and families through their stages of fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of parenting. Their goal has never simply been to provide services. It's about helping families feel supported throughout their journey.

As Rooted Family Wellness Centre continued to grow, so did the demands on their technology.

"As our organization and team grew, so did the complexity of our technology needs," Erin and Christine explained. "We needed reliable systems, stronger security, and responsive support that would allow our team to focus on caring for families rather than troubleshooting technology."

That's when Heartfelt IT became part of their journey.

Today, Rooted Family Wellness Centre continues growing its community.

They are also excited to launch the first-ever Ottawa Baby Expo on November 14, 2026, at the Brookstreet Hotel in Kanata.

Presented by Rooted Family Wellness Centre, the Expo will bring together trusted local businesses, healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations in one welcoming space for expecting and new families. Erin and Christine's goals are simple: to help families discover available resources and begin building their village.
